FAQ

Cannabinoids are chemicals that work with our body’s Endocannabinoid system. There are 2 types of naturally-occurring Cannabinoids:

1. Phytocannabinoids – which are Plant Cannabinoids
2. Endocannabinoids – which are the cannabinoids that our body produces

Phytocannabinoids are Plant Cannabinoids. These chemicals can be found in Hemp and work with our body’s Endocannabinoid system. These include CBG, CBC, CBN and THC.

There are 80- 100 different Phytocannabinoids and several Terpenes in Hemp, each with different effects. Hemp Lively products preserve all the available Phytocannabinoids.

Endocannabinoids and Phytocannabinoids attach to our bodies Endocannabinoid receptors which then send signals to various areas of the body.  These areas participate in a variety of processes relating to the pain-sensation, memory, sleep, mood and appetite.

Whole Plant means the all the Major and Minor Phytocannabinoids as well as the Terpenes have been preserved and are included in the product you are about to try.

Full Spectrum is a common term for a Multiple-Cannabinoid product which usually only contains 3-7 Major Phytocannabinoids like CBG, CBN and THC but not the Minor Phytocannabinoids. Whole Plant has all the available Major and Minor Phytocannabinoids and the naturally occurring Terpenes.

Provide the answer to the Minor Phytocannabinoids are the 70-90 remaining Phytocannabinoids that are found in Hemp. These Minor Phytocannabinoids are not tested during lab tests and do not show up on a COA (lab report). So if you aren’t getting your Hemp Oil from a Seed to Sale company, then they probably aren’t in there.

Terpenes are chemicals in Hemp that are responsible for the plant’s aroma (smell) and also have medicinal value.

COA stands for Certificate of Analysis. This is the lab report that shows the Potency (amount of each of the Major Phytocannabinoids) and Terpenes.  Full Panel Lab Tests on all products covers testing to make sure every product is Free of Pesticides, Heavy Metals, Residual Solvents, Microbials and Contaminants? These reports are also part of the COA.

Full Panel Lab Tests on all products which covers the Phytocannabinoid and Terpene Potency, as well as testing to make sure every product is Free of Pesticides, Heavy Metals, Residual Solvents, Microbials and Contaminants?

Whole Plant has less than 0.3% THC and THC Free has ZERO THC. It has been completely removed. Both products have Multiple Phytocannabinoids and Terpenes. THC Free products are also known as Broad Spectrum. Some people prefer to use products with No THC.

People that get drug tested or have sensitivity to THC. These may include Police, Fireman, Professional Athletes, Government Employees or People on Probation.

It is possible if you are taking a very high dose for a long period of time as Phytocannabinoids such as THC do build up in your system. If you are concerned with this, Please try our Broad Spectrum THC Free Hemp Oil.  It has a very similar Phytocannabinoid and Terpene profile to Whole Plant except the THC has been completely removed.
